Ry is a proud supporter of Raincoast Dog Rescue Society, a registered non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need. This is a cause that is especially close to Ry’s heart. He and his wife have two rescue dogs (pictured below) of their own and have opened their doors to foster many more over the years through several rescue organizations, including Raincoast. Through this experience, Ry has seen firsthand the compassion, commitment, and life-changing impact that rescue groups provide to vulnerable animals. 

To help support this important work, a portion of every sale Ry completes is donated directly to Raincoast Dog Rescue, contributing to veterinary care, transport, foster support, and the safe placement of dogs into loving homes.

Ry is a committed supporter of local sports through his sponsorship of the Kerry Park Islanders junior hockey team.

 Having grown up playing hockey, Ry has a deep appreciation for the role sport plays in shaping young athletes—teaching teamwork, discipline, and resilience while fostering a strong sense of community. By sponsoring the Islanders, Ry is happy to give back to the local hockey community and support the development of players both on and off the ice.

Ry is an active supporter of the Cobble Hill Farmers Institute, a long-standing community organization dedicated to supporting local agriculture, heritage, and community connection. 

The Institute is well known for hosting a variety of popular local events throughout the year, including fairs, seasonal celebrations, and family-friendly gatherings that bring residents together. Ry is proud to support an organization that plays such an important role in strengthening the fabric of the Cobble Hill community.
